Privacy policy
This policy explains what AIPC.deals collects when you use the site, why, and what we do not collect. The site is operated by Blackcedar Media Limited, whose full postal details appear in the imprint and in the footer of every page.
Analytics we run ourselves
We record page views and a small set of interaction events so we can see which pages, workloads, budgets and systems people are actually looking for and which countries they read from. Each record holds the event or page path, the referring address, your browser user agent, the first two letters of your browser language, the country and network operator Cloudflare reports for the connection, whether the page was engaged with, a timestamp, and a session key. The session key is a truncated one-way hash of your IP address and the date, so it cannot be reversed and it changes every day at midnight UTC. We do not store your IP address, your name, your email address or any identifier that persists between days. A search records the length of the query, not its text. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share this data. These detailed records are deleted after 180 days; daily totals with no session key are kept.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking cookies and does not require a login. It sets one first-party cookie for 90 days, which holds only a letter deciding which of two button wordings you see, so that wording stays the same between pages. Advertising served through Google AdSense and links followed to retailers may set cookies in your browser under those companies own policies. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites, and you can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings. Amazon and other retailers use cookies to attribute a purchase to the site that referred you.
Affiliate links
Outbound retailer links pass through our own redirect address. That redirect records the click, with the fields described above plus the price shown at that moment, and sends you on to the retailer with our affiliate tag attached. It does not record who you are. Once you arrive at the retailer, that company privacy policy governs what happens next.
Advertising
We work with Google AdSense. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user prior visits to this website or other websites. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third party vendor use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Your rights
Because we do not store personal data tied to an identity, there is in normal use no personal record of yours for us to retrieve, correct or erase. If you have written to us by email, that correspondence is personal data and you may ask us to delete it. Requests go to Info@blackcedarmedia.com and we answer within thirty days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the change will appear on this page with a new date. Continued use of the site after that date means the updated policy applies.
